Honor Flight of Southern Colorado

MISSION 17 COMPLETE!
Honor Flight of Southern Colorado Mission #17 is COMPLETE!
On behalf of the Honor Flight of Southern Colorado board, we would like to thank our 88 FANTASTIC veterans, Guardians, and volunteers who made Mission 17 the most successful Honor Flight in our history!
As an organization we have SO MUCH to be thankful for in 2023.
Please review the photos and the link to the KOAA News 5 documentary on our trip. If you have not spent the time to view it, the documentary tells a very powerful story on the goodness and the healing aspect of an Honor Flight.
If you are an era-eligible veteran who is wavering on whether to attend an upcoming Honor Flight, please watch the video. See the power of the messages and hear the emotions of our Mission 17 attendees…then consider joining us soon.
2024 is going to be our best year EVER!
For the veterans and Guardians who have previously registered, your applications will remain active, and we will contact you individually on your status and your eligibility to be a part of our planned flights in 2024.
SPECIAL THANKS AGAIN to our amazing sponsors for this flight, The Retired Enlisted Association, Chapter 1, and Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation. Without their valued support, we could not afford to do this mission. We also want to thank Honor Flight National Hub for their support.

INTERESTED IN BOARD OR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH HONOR FLIGHT?
Honor Flight of Southern Colorado is looking for two (2) potential board members, Guardians, and volunteers to join our very busy organization.
Our board is a volunteer, non-partisan, hard-working board. Every board member pitches in for the greater good of our mission. We also consistently need Guardians and volunteers to help drive the vision and continued success of our growing chapter.
Our Guardians are committed to help our veterans during our Washington DC trips, and our volunteers help with events that support them prior to and after their trips.
If you are interested in in joining a group of passionate community members committed to giving back to our heroes, please contact us at info@honorflightsoco.net or go directly to our website and apply directly to be a Guardian or a volunteer on the correct tab.
We hope to hear from you soon!
